Moving Collections
Collections can be moved to become subcollections and subcollections can be moved to become stand alone collections or subcollections in a different location.
To change the position of a Collection:
- View the Collection using the list view and select the Collection(s) you wish to move.
- Click Move
- From the pop up menu, select the Collection you wish to move your subcollection to, or click Root Collection to set the Collection as a standalone collection.
- Click Move to confirm the move.
Moving items between Collections
Items (images and layers) can be moved from one Collection to another.
To move images:
- Using the List view, select the image(s) that you wish to move by clicking the checkbox next to the image thumbnail. Select Move from the blue menu bar.
- In the pop up window, select the Collection you wish to move to the items to and click Move.
- The items will be removed from the current Collection and moved to the selected Collection.
If any of the images or layers already exist in the chosen Collection they will not be moved from the original Collection. Please note that if you have added the image or layer at a specific magnification and position, the system will consider it a new item if the image/layer is at a different magnification/zoom and move the item.
You can also add images from your Favorite and Annotated folders to other Collections.
To add images to other Collections:
- While viewing the Favorite or Annotated collection, use the list view to select the checkboxes for the images that you wish to add to another Collection.
- Click the Add Image to Collection button
- In the pop up window, select the Collection you wish to add the items to and click Add.
- Items will remain in the Favorite or Annotated Collection but will also appear in the new Collection.
